Create and edit batch file in windows 7?

I want to copy files from a folder to another folder named with system date. Actually, I want to such a batch file which gets executed when I click a button on desktop and complete the above task.

For create a batch file first create a new text document on your desktop. After that go to file- >save as in that input a file name with the .bat extension.
