    Amazon Kindle 3rd Generation Tips

    As I have bought the Amazon kindle fire tab. The tab is wonderful using it . the touch interface is lovable and the battery backup is really good of this tab. The tab is really useful for the eBook readers they can carry the tab anywhere they go and need not worry about carrying the books. But I want to know about the tips of the kindle fire tab. Do you all know the tips and tricks in the kindle fire then please share the same , it would be really appreciating .

    Here are tips to check the battery life of your kindle fire tab press the menu and then again press the menu . and here is the tip to open the hidden calculator for that you have to go on the “Home screen”, now after going on the home screen press any letter to open the search window. Now after when the search window is open try Deleting the letter you entered earlier now what you have to do is press the SYM key and after doing this start your calculation for example any type of addition or sub like 10 + 12 , 40 – 10 . now after inserting some number press the enter key you will see at the right of the sym key the calculated result will be displayed

    Here are some how to place a bookmark:

    first using the keyboard try to press the alt + B together, after that Using the menu just select "Add a Bookmark" . you can even do by Using the direction key to move up and down into the book when in the cursor mode and then press the center key twice just like we do double click in the computer

    I have the tips to open the dictionary to refer the word in kidle fire k3 , then what you have to do is press your return button which is towards your right of sym button and by doing this it will open the dictionary isn’t it the easy trick to open the dictionary without going through the menu. Now if you want ot change your primary dictionary to the home screen to do this just follow some few steps goto the menu ==> then go to setting ==>menu ==> now change your primary dictionary.

    What you will do if you want to take the screenshot of particular file or some documents . then you can do just by pressing the shift+ alt + G , this willtake the image in the .GIF format and copy to your email or wherever you need .

    Here are the some shortcuts for ebook reader and normal for the kindle fire k3

    • alt + shift + G = takes the screenshot
    • alt + G = refreshes your screen
    • shift + alt + m = play the minesweeper game
    • alt + home = takes you to Kindle Store
    • alt + top row of letters on keyboard = numbers 1-9
    • To check the time hit menu
    • To see available memory hit menu on homescreen
    • By pressing and holding the power slide for 7 seconds Turn off kindle 3
    • By pressing and holding the power slide for 15 seconds reset the kindle
    • change primary dictionary by going to settings then menu

    Here are the shortcut keys for the image viewer

    • q = for zoom in
    • w = for zoom out
    • e = reset the zoom
    • c = takes you to actual size
    • f = takes full-screen
    • r = rotate the screen
    • nav controller = pan
    • page forward and back = cycle through images

    It was really hard with the navigating through the tab. but I guess this tips have really made me helpful to navigate in the kindle fire.
