Beginners Tips for using Andriod Smartphones

Here are certain tips that is best recommended for those who are really new to Android. It is applicable to most of the android versions :
    • Half of the problems on a Android based platform is resolved by rebooting the phone. I cannot count the number of people we helped in suggesting this simple action. Most of the time you just need to restart your phone to fix the common problem in the phone
    • The best part for the phones security is that there is no virus on Android. And even if is any then they are so marginal that you will ever meet them. The reason for that is very simple. There is very less work done on this and based on a very powerful platform it not easy to create virus for that.
    • To access your SD card from your computer, it is necessary that when you connect your android phone via USB, you have to pull down the notification bar on your Smartphone. Click the notification and then you can simply mount the same on your system. The SD card will appear as an external drive. If you do not have this on the system tray then just change the USB port. If this also did not work then you can troubleshoot this by going to Settings / Application / Development and select USB debugging.
    • You can get most of the applications on the android market. You can simply downloaded a legal app and then install the same on your sd card. There are tons of applications are provided on this. You just need to search one as per your need.
    • Try an application like MySettings. It allows you to easily access the most useful parameters of your smartphone and add sometimes.
    • In case you do not have a data plan with your smartphone, then you can use your system Internet. For that you will need to connect your phone by wifi. For that you will need to download an application called APNDroid or APNOn / Off. Check the appropriate box in parameters.
    • Telephone + SMS and MMS are included in your package communication. 3G, 2G, Edge options are data charge, often unlimited packages tailored for smartphones. While you do not need to pay for GPS and WiFi. If you use Google Maps, you'll use your data plan, not to locate you, but to download the maps. Tethering or connection sharing is still in mystery, we recommend you come and talk on the forum because it really depends billing cases.
    • The Google account is absolutely required to use the functionality of your smartphone, but it also allows you to get you out of many situations the Swiss Army knife, the proof of purchase on the market, the locksmith when the pin / scheme is forgotten, the book for your contacts and archive configurations.
    • A long press on the "Home" button opens a window with the six most recently used applications.
    • The current date is when you tap the status bar on the left top corner. The Android mobile phone turns silent when it is put in a call to the head or the volume button is pressed.
    • To add files to dig for your Android phone, you can connect it via USB cable to your computer and then pull down the status bar. Select the item USB Connection and click on the Memory Access. Your phone will now appear as a mass storage on your computer.
    • To define your own MP3s as ring-tones, you can easily create on your SD card a folder called ring-tones. All in there copied MP3s are automatically listed in the select list of ring-tones. The same thing applies to alarms for sound, and notifications for notification sounds.
    • The browser is sufficient to quickly double tap to zoom down to a specific location. This works like many other Android browsers.
    • Android phones with HTC Sense or Launcherpro shows a helicopter view of all the Home screen if you place two fingers on the screen together (pinch-zoom gesture). The same works by pressing the Home button.
    • Charges may apps from the Android Market to try for 24 hours. If you within this period the application again deletes the full purchase price will be refunded.
    • An ordinary file manager such as Astro help one among all the pictures, music and apps on the SD card to keep order there. About this one can also directly install apk files directly onto Android mobile phone -. This is the file format of Android applications.
    • The default Android browser is not exactly brilliant. Try again the Dolphin browser. This is fast, supports tabs, gesture control and multi-touch zoom.
    • Import iTunes Playlists with the program, double twist.
    • The Outlook Calendar can about the program Google Calendar Sync will sync with no problems.
    • The program Apps Organizer helps a better folder structure to create on your home screen. So you keep an overview.

Recommended Apps for all types of Andriod Phones :

    Games :

Brain Deluxe - the name should say something to everyone. Such brain training games are indeed shot at Nintendo's genius like mushrooms. The advantage of this incarnation of Android is that it's completely free! Graphically nice and put up with some nice games, makes the daily brain training fun, especially as his cell phone in itself, so every day has it.

Mechanics Touch - Here we have a game in the Lemmings-style to do with it, although this does something quite different. This time it's not true lemmings with different skills that enable one to bring them safely to the finish (although you'd just close with mechanics on that) but the game world, to manipulate. Is a nice pastime, and free with the Lite version!

    Internet & Info

Traffic Information - Who much is the road will appreciate this app. As the name suggests it does, the program shows processed properly to all traffic reports in Germany. You can either go by road or display just the messages in the direct vicinity can. Here you can view everything on a map. Improvement here would still display the map. A direct connection to the installed maps app would be perfect.

    Dolphin browser -
the default browser of Android is indeed quite ok and comes with all the sites along well, more convenience, but the Dolphin browser. Tabs, gestures, shortcuts to various Google services and bookmark services etc make a great impression and also the speed is subjective and far better than the default browser. As with Android usual you can also set up Dolphin, of course, as the default, use it to access other apps on it. There is strong Adware or alternatively pay HD version it still, but I have not yet been tested.

    Communications

Facebook - the Facebook app is yes on most Android phones pre-installed. I have now but finally they started to use and appreciate the advantages. Although it is not as mature as its counterpart on the iPhone, but thanks to integration with the Android-contact management is the utility value equal to an entirely different.

Nimbuzz - I used last time, still Meebo, I am now switched to Nimbuzz. The app can also handle the super important messengers, support in return for meebo but above all, Skype.

    Twitter -
unlike the iPhone has not Twitter for Android simply an existing app on the market shopped but an own developed. The succeeded so well that I liked all tested before the device was thrown. There is not enough just to support multiple accounts. Since I have only one scratched me not. For this I am pleased with the connection to the Android contact management and so features like the display of tweets on the map and send the widget.

I got some code numbers which showed some help on android phones. I had not tried this yet but it looks like that it most helpful. The first is * # * # 4636 # * # *. When you enter the combination in the electoral field and you will receive information on the phone, battery information battery log and usage statistics (very interesting!). The second one is * 135 #. By typing this you can see your own phone number. And then last on is * 2767 * 3855 #. This combination is a hard reset is performed. This process, all files and settings back to factory condition.
