    Animating with tracks in Blender

In addition to the IPO system, there is another simple technique to animate the objects is to create a curve that describes the trajectory of motion of the object. We realize in practice a movement like this by following a certain path to our top. First you must enter the path which is represented by a curve. There position on the "Top" and, with the mouse cursor in the 3D window, enter the menu by pressing the spacebar. For example, add a Bezier Curve (Add> Curve> Bezier Curve). Because the object, in this case the top, closely follows the curve, it is important to approach a point of the object (in this case the tip of the top) at one end of the curve. We can do this by moving the top or the curve and possibly changing view. In this way we obtain the initial position of the movement.

You must establish a relationship between the object and the curve. Switch to Object Mode and select the top first, then hold down the Shift key, also select the curve. Pressing Ctrl + P will show the menu, "Make Parent" pushed to establish the link between the two objects. From this menu, the report "Follow Path" to ensure that the top, in his motion, follow the path represented by the curve.

We can choose to change the trajectory: we select the curve and switch to Edit Mode. In Edit Mode you can move the vertices by selecting them and pressing the letter 'G', or create new ones by selecting one of the two ends of the curve and press the letter 'E'.

Finally, to render the animation, you enter the sub-context "Render buttons" in the first field in the Output panel, you can specify where to save the file of the animation, while in the "End" panel "soul" is can set the number of the last frame of the animation. In the Format panel, however, you can access the menu to select the size of the animation to be created. Set these parameters, press the Anim button will start the rendering of the animation. At the end, to see the result, simply press the Play button.

Re: Animating with tracks in Blender

There are a couple of arrangements for the blender to achieve this effect in the rendering: what is essential in enabling the feature that draws a section marked with the outlines of objects, while the other (often useful, but not always necessary) is using materials resistant to light (a characteristic obtained by activating the button Shadeless between the properties of the material). Let's start giving these features to the default Blender cube. So that may draw a sharp boundary object, you have access to the sub-context "Render buttons" and, in the Output panel, enable the Edge button. Pressing, however, "Edge Settings" you can specify the color of the outline (through the RGB sliders) and intensity (setting the value of Eint). The material of the cube should be insensitive to light, to set this condition, simply click on the button panel Shadeless Material sub-context of the Material buttons.
