Flash BIOS using Q-Flash

Sponsored Links
As per the Title is suggested here I would guide or give a way for making the BIOS update or flash with Qflash. Basically this can be done using BIOS. Bios is basically a set of instruction that is been stored in a chip on the motherboard. Basically it dictates how the motherboard should perform well or operate and get work with the device. You can get the instruction to be performed well w9ithout any fault. Check out for the critical nature of the same. Also Q flash is basically a bios flash application or a small utility that is been embedded in the Flash Rom/ Q-Flash allows the users to use the thing that is flash the bios without any use of Dos or Windows

Other than the desired steps to be taken you can check for the above pic what basically has to be performed. Then using Q-Flash indicating that nothing disastrous steps to be taken while making it work and operating system since it is in the BIOS menu. You can make the things to get work well that is by getting access to the Qflash. For this you need to follow certain steps. The steps are given as follows:
  • Firstly you have to make the system to be restarted
  • Now when it is been done you have to make sure that you press End Key to start the Q-Flash
  • Choose "Update BIOS from Drive" and this can be done using the arrow keys on Keyboard
  • Other than this you have to now select the drive or path where updated BIOS file is present and press "Enter"; you can use a floppy disk, a USB drive or your hard drive to store the file. If you haven't downloaded an updated BIOS yet then get it from the developers site. Click "BIOS" and select the latest version to download from their site.
  • You then need to choose the file and hit enter
  • now when the system prompts the message as "Are you sure to update BIOS?" to start the update process hit enter
  • You can then press any key to return to the main menu once the process is complete
  • Finally Press the "Esc" key and then "Enter" to exit the "Q-Flash" utility and reboot the system.

Re: Flash BIOS using Q-Flash

There is an important aspect which you need to keep in mind and work accordingly for making the things to be processed. All you need to do is to check out that is Once you have flashed and rebooted back into the BIOS you have to make sure that the settings is been applied to the optimum part RThen you need to click on save and apply. This step is done for making the bios to load in the chip properly. Now you have reboot Back into the BIOS again. You will need to set your hard drive settings again in the Advanced BIOS page. You should not try to load Windows if you are using a RAID setup without setting these disk settings again or you will corrupt your RAID Array. Also please do not skip the above steps and try to load windows, this is for anyone who is reading this who is using RAID, which a lot of us do. There are certain steps which needs to be properly followed. For the same you have to flash the BIOS using Qflash and make sure that the DMI data is disabled. Now when the flash is performed you have to reboot back to BIOS. You then have to load the optimized default settings and set the RAM voltage then regain back to BIOS. You then have to set the Integrated Peripheral settings. Follow out the process as assisted and you may then be able to perform the act well without any issue.
