Tips to unlock GSM cell phone

    WHY UNLOCK GSM PHONE?
    For example:
    - Using a national network cheaper;
    - Switching between the subscription and pay in advance.
Note: sometimes it also works without unlocking.

    RISK OF RELEASE :
There are risks in unlocking your phone:
    - Warranty
    - "Tampered" (Ericsson)
    - Out
If your phone must be returned to the store for any repairs, they can see you did "unlock". Some phones are protected from Ericsson to unlock: After you try to unlock it display "Tampered" and no longer work: you must bring it back to the store. In addition, the type of unlocker could be a prutser and damage your phone by accident. There is no insurance for this, do not let the unlocker fool you!

    HOW TO UNLOCK?
There are several ways to remove the SIM LOCK:
    - Easy way: by your provider
    - Hard way: do it yourself or let someone else do

HOW TO UNLOCK: the easy way
Just ask your supplier. Sometimes it is free:
    - After 6 months subscription for most providers is available from customer service code that you enter on your phone to unlock this one.
    - You can also cheat by asking a person who owns more than 6 months subscription (with the same provider) to request the code to unlock your mobile.

HOW TO UNLOCK: the hard way
    - Phone software hack
    - Load the other version of software in the phone
    - Change phone data as if the lock has been removed

You need cable and special software to do any of them. Note that changing the phone's software is illegal because the phone manufacturer has copyright on this software. On the other hand you can by this method you end up with an older version of the software so beware. Other ways of unlocking is not illegal (if the software you use is not illegal). The stores do not store the cables and software, but you can buy them online. Sometimes you need to search "Nokia" and other spellings to find the software. Finding the cable and the software yourself, is much longer and it is not given, therefore it is better to pay some type to do the unlocking for you. But be careful do not get fooled by an attacker it you could install an older version of the software.

IS IT THAT I CAN USE THE CODE OF OTHERS?
No, the unlock code you get from the telephone operator is different for each phone!

WHAT IS THE IMEI AND DO I NEED IT?
The IMEI number is the electronic serial number of your phone. All GSM phones in the show once typed * # 06 #. It is for the management of GSM operators. It is useless for unlocking equipment.

DO I USE THE PIN, PUK, PIN2 OR THE PUK2?
No, those codes are totally different and have nothing to do with simlock.

SIM-CLOCK IS THE SAME AS SIM-LOCK?
No, it's clock "clock" and is a limited supply that has nothing to do with locking.
