How to fix PDF Problem after jailbreaking iOS4

The jailbreak OS 4 has become a breeze. I will try briefly to explain how it works. When we go on Jailbreakme.com , the site downloads a PDF file without our consent. The system executes, injects code into the iOS to jailbreak and install Cydia

All the perverse side of the thing is that anyone can now unscrupulous you upload a PDF and injected into the contaminated iOS iPhone malicious code (to recover passwords, contacts, etc.). We will fix this problem thanks to this little Tweak!

Re: How to fix PDF Problem after jailbreaking iOS4

Firstly, it is imperative to change the default password of SSH on the iPhone (@ Alpine Root), it should be mandatory after each jailbreak!

❶ Install OpenSSH via Cydia and Mobile Terminal (version 426, available on the repo: cydia.frenchiphone.com)
    ❷ Run Mobile Terminal
❸ Type su and hit return to move on with administrator
❹ A password will be requested, type: Alpine
❺ Type passwd then the touch input
❻ Enter your new password that you choose (it does not appear, it is normal), then Enter
❼ We invite you to retype it again. Repeat.

    Remember:
    • Do not forget your password, if this is the case, you'll have to go through the box restoration.

    • Update: the fix is available on Cydia in the BigBoss repo: PDF Loading Warner. Instructions 8 and 9 are no longer needed.

❽ Download this file . deb and Via SSH, place it in / private / var / mobile /

Now from your Mac (Mobile Terminal) or with your PC (Putty), we will install the file. Deb
Log in to your iPhone via SSH (with the user: root and Password, that you just defined).

❾ Then copy / paste this line and tap enter: dpkg-i-com.willstrafach.pdfexploitwarner_1.0.0 4_iphoneos-arm.deb

That every time a site wants to load a PDF, a pop-up will appear asking you if you are really sure you want to load the PDF.

Note that for those who do not want to get their hands dirty, Cdevwill , the author of this fix will soon put the file directly under Cydia, which will simplify further the manip.
