This is normal. to convert the damaged parts of your QuickBooks file zero size on production. The other most common cause of reducing file size, if some of the features of the original file are not supported and therefore outside the restored file. Demo-recovered file is smaller because it mostly from the demo placeholders than actual data.

If your license type is Enterprise or Service, you can run Recovery for QuickBooks from the command line and use these calls in batch files. Standard version does not support the command line. The format for command line usage:
    Code:
qbr.exe <original path> file name with "Path of directory to the restored speichern, file(s)>"
Please note that the directory for recovered file (s) before the start of the recovery to be created. Command line mode supports pattern '*' (replaces group of symbols) and "?" (Replaces one symbol).

    2. On the tab, the Advanced Environment Variables, then click on the name of the user variable (TEMP or TMP) you want to change that.
    3. Click on Edit, not to exceed.
    4. Set path to the location to be stored in the temporary data (such as E: \).
    5. Restart the computer for the changes in force.
    6. Run the software again.

You can also use the special environment variable called OFFICERECOVERY_TMP to the directory where Recovery for QuickBooks's temporary files should be saved. Use environment variable to edit the method shown above.
