If you have a lot of audiobook files with you and you want to sync them to your Zune then it will not work properly if you are using Overdrive Media Console. The reason behind this is that Overdrive appends each file with the part number during the synchronization procedure. To avoid this problem, here is a small tip on how to sync audiobook file onto your Zune.
What all software do I need?
There is not much requirement for this tip to perform. You just need to make sure you have downloaded and installed Overdrive Media Console software and Zune Overdrive.Wax Creator 4.1 or later.
How to Synchronize?
1. Choose the folder where the audiobook files are stored.
2. Optionally, you can select a book cover from your computer provided it is JPG format. By default, Overdrive have an inbuilt image.
3. Put in the Author and Title of the book.
4. Create a new file with .WAX extension. A confirmation of the creation of the file will be prompted.
5. Start transferring your files to the Overdrive Media Transfer Wizard.
