How to Set up email on iPhone 4

The iPhone is the mobile device multimedia company Apple Inc. and increasingly is becoming more used after its launch in 2007. To configure e-mail from our terminal domain in our native iPhone Mail program, just follow the steps below. Access the application of our iPhone Mail and choose the option Other (Other) to set up an email with a domain.

We can choose to configure access to our mail via POP or IMAP. It is advisable to choose IMAP if that same email as we are reviewing in another terminal, such as our personal computer. Choosing unload POP mail on our iPhone.

Then we fill in the following way of introduction:

    • Name (Name) - The name of our email accounts

    • Address (Address) - Our e-mail for example username@gmail.com

    • Description (Description) - A description to distinguish this account from others.

    Incoming mail server

This setting is for access to email. The data to be filled are:

    • Host Name (Server) - username@gmail.com replacing "gmail.com" with the name of your domain.

    • User Name (User) - Our complete e-mail for example username@gmail.com

    • Password (Password) - The password for our e-mail

    Outgoing mail server

This setting is for sending email. The data to be filled are:

    • Host Name (Server) - username@gmail.com replacing "gmail.com" with the name of our domain.

    • User Name (User) - Our complete e-mail for example username@gmail.com

    • Password (Password) - The password for our email, the same as above

Once we configured the account to save your changes by clicking the Save button (Save). At this time the mail is already configured but still we review some additional settings.

Accessing the Mail option, called Settings (Preferences) you can adjust the settings on our own. To function correctly we uncheck SSL access, leaving it in Off state, and we must check that the authentication of the account is active by entering the password again if necessary.

The ports are access to email on port 110 for downloading and port 25 for shipping, although some are closing proveeedores port 25 so if the port should sustiuirlo 587.
