    Internet Connection sharing on iPhone

Here's a tip for you to share your internet connection iPhonewith your computer. In other words, you use your iPhone as a modem no matter where you are provided of course have a network coverage of your telephone, classic or 3G.

    On the iPhone

Above all, you must enable Internet Connection Sharing on your iPhone. To do this, you will need to subscribe to an option offered by your operator (Orange, or any other company). This option is not free and for a few euros a month, you can use your iPhone as a modem to connect to your computer (mobile or landline) and surf the Internet from your computer with your favorite browser. The activation time of this option is 24 to 48 hours.

    Settings

To obtain the benefit of using an iPhone as a modem, you must enable connection sharing in the settings of your iPhone.

    Method:

Path: Tap the icon "Settings" menu then "General" submenu "Network" and scroll down until you see"Connection Sharing". Once activated by your service provider, this option is detailed as follows:

The procedure is very simple and there is nothing left to do, the iPhone connection is recognized as a traditional network connection that is activated automatically in Windows XP. It is still quite useful to be able to display a small icon of monitoring the proper connection in the task bar on the right. To do this, simply specify the connection properties. It recognizes the iPhone and this connection is visible in the Control Panel in Windows.

Re: Internet Connection sharing on iPhone

You have several other options available to you for sharing Internet connection:

-In the case of firmware 3 (and for Orange, but just go to other operators if not):
Settings / General / Network / Internet Sharing via USB or Bluetooth, tes works well, (except on my laptop where the hardware "Apple Mobile Device Ethernet" cannot settle, if indeed someone to make a suggestion to address this problem)

Using apps-third style or MyWi PdaNet (the latter, in addition to USB and Bluetooth, is responsible to become WiFi router for all devices nearby!) The two are downloadable cracked on Cydia. I think I was fairly clear, however, if a charitable soul had my answer to the question, see apple mobile device Ethernet.
