You store videos, music, photos and documents on your computer and you want to dispose anytime and anywhere. You can record everything on an external hard drive to take anywhere with you, but this is not really practical.

With Orb, you'll be able to turn your PC into media server. You can then access your files from anywhere with a Web browser and an Internet connection. Of course, your computer must remain in operation to be accessed remotely and still be connected to the Internet.

Whether it's from another computer across the world, with a table, a games console or even a TV, you will be able to repatriate and open your files, view slideshows of your photos, listen to your music and even watch streaming videos.

Creating a user account (free), you will protect your files and be the only one who can access it remotely. Very easy to configure, you do not need to open ports in your firewall or set a static IP for your computer: everything is automatic and managed by the software.

    Avoid standby:

Your computer must be accessible at all times, you must disable the automatic standby Windows. To do so, follow these steps:
    • Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
    • Click System and security.
    • Click Power Options.
    • Select Normal use and click the Edit mode settings.
    • Scroll Put the computer in standby and select Never.
    • Click Save Changes.
