uRemote -
Software for remote management client uTorrent, installed on another computer. This can be uTorrent on your home computer when you are at work, other machine on the LAN or a dedicated Internet server to download files (seedbox). And even if uTorrent is a web interface WebUI (for use with uRemote it will need to adjust) uRemote not have to run through a browser, but can be run from the USB device - a small and functional program.
What you need for uRemote
To use uRemote we need the following:
- Once installed and running uTorrent (1.8.1) C is configured WebUI on your computer that you want to manage (ie, on a remote machine).
- On a computer with uRemote (ie the local machine) must be installed . NET Framework v2 (already have the users Windows Vista).
Configuring WebUI -
WebUI - this addition to uTorrent, allows you to remotely manage the client through a browser. It must be correctly installed and configured before you get to uRemote.
1. Download the latest version of the WebUI with uTorrent forum. Or just download the distribution for this link. Rename the file like webui.1220503364.zip in webui.zip. Put webui.zip folder% appdata% torrent client. To do this, go to Start> Run, type there "% appdata% \uTorrent"and in Windows Explorer opens the folder. Make sure that webui.zip is the same place where settings.dat.
2. Start uTorrent, click "Options> SettingsĀ» (Options> Preferences) and go to the WebUI. Check this option and enter the username and password. For our example, activate the "Listen to an alternative portĀ» (Alternative Listening Port) - as shown in the figure below, we used port 8080.
3. To test the WebUI, fire up your browser and enter the ip-address of the remote machine, which works uTorrent, the port number through the colon and / gui / at the end of the URL. For example, the settings can be something like this
