If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 for several months, the findings may be alarming with a gap between your current performance and the ones you had right after installing the system.
Like everyone else, you've probably changed a few settings, installed and uninstalled software, some may be malicious, manipulated files ... You are so sure your computer sluggish, slow start, with performance significantly lowered.
One solution to clean!
Check for viruses or spyware:
If you notice a significant slowdown of Windows or your internet browser, strange behavior of your computer or your software, in short, that something is wrong is that you are probably infected. Even if you use antivirus software, some malicious programs can come to pass through: spyware, spyware, fake software, fake antivirus, Trojan horse or virus.
- Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here.
- Install it.
- Restart your computer in safe mode. To do this, restart your computer. When you start your computer, right after the "beep" mode, press the F8 key.
- In the menu that appears, with the arrow keys, go to the option Safe Mode with network support and press Enter.
- Only essential system files of Windows are loaded. After a few minutes, the Safe Mode of Windows is launched.
- Double click on the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware on the Desktop.
- Select Run a full review and click on Search.
- Check the boxes next to all your drives and click Search. Your system is then analyzed. This may take several hours.
- Click OK, then Show Results.
- All items are listed pests detected and selected. Click Remove Selected to remove the malicious files.
- Click OK and restart your computer.
Remove temporary files and traces:
The free CCleaner will allow you to clean traces and temporary files used by Windows and the software you use.
- Download CCleaner from here.
- Install it.
- Run the software by double clicking its shortcut on the desktop.
- In the Windows tab, check the boxes to remove all items.
- Open the Applications tab and then repeat the process by checking the boxes in front of all the elements to empty. Note that only the software installed on your computer appear in CCleaner.
- When you are finished, click the Analyze button.
- CCleaner cleaning simulates and presents the amount of space you will recover and files will be deleted. After checking that no files in the list you need is present, click Clean.
- Confirm the operation by clicking the OK button.
- Cleaning starts.
