Hello! Well many of you might have come across that there is a lot of problems with Windows Live messenger to function under Windows Vista operating system. The Windows Live Messenger is not at all compatible with Vista and this is the reason that it is unable to perform or work under the same. I have got some solutions to make the application to work under Vista and it can be done well by following the steps.
The issue is that there is a error message that you can login. For the thing that is Windows Vista's auto tuning off, this problem can be solved well. Follow the steps that is been mentioned as below:
- Click on the start button and then type cmd in search box.
- Now you have to right click on the "cmd" and then make it run as Administrator
- The comand prompt window will appear and then you need to type "netsh int tcp set global autotuning = disabled level."
- Then close all the Windows after you get a confirmation that is done through "Ok."
- If still this do not resolve then you need to make a slight change in the command that is in step 3 all you need to is type netsh int tcp set global autotuning = normal level" type.
You can have a schematic footage of the command prompt
