Tips to enable PIN & SMS logging with BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1

I will like to share some tips for enabling the PIN and SMS logging with BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1

These are the software you are going to need for this:
    1. BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1
    2. IBM Lotus Domino
    3. Microsoft Exchange
    4. Novell GroupWise
    Procedure

BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1 can log personal identification number (PIN) messages and Short Message Service (SMS) messages that have been sent and received on a BlackBerry device. These logs are then kept in a central storage area. By default, only phone call logging is turned on.

Enterprise Server software of Blackberry is capable of keeping the log of PIN (Personal Identification Number) message and the (SMS) Short message service message, which are sent or received on your blackberry mobile phone. Normally these log file are kept in the central storage area, but on the phone call, logging is tuned on.
For changing the setting according to your requirement you have to follow these simple steps.

    1. First in the BlackBerry Manager, now in the left pane you have to select the Enterprise server which you want to modify.
    2. After that select the Server configuration tab, after the Edit the properties.
    3. Now click on the Sync Server.
    4. Then double click on the Audit Root Directory.
    5. After that set the location where you want to save the files and then click OK.
    6. Now click the BlackBerry Domain in the left pane.
    7. After that select the Global tab, and then click on the Edit properties.
    8. Then click on the IT policy.
    9. Double click on the IT policies which is in the IT Policy administrator
    10. After that select one of the policies which are in the list.
    11. Then click Properties -> PIM sync Policy Group.
