Tips to overclock 4870 x2 with Rivatuner without losing power play

You know that if you are going to overclock with RivaTuner, powerplay will be disabled, right?
This is not a limit of RivaTuner, any software able to overclock ATI cards last generation do. Only way to overclock without losing is powerpaly using overdrive, but using this method maximum clocks available are limited unless you change the BIOS.
However, using the function superscheduling RivaTuner we are able to reactivate automatically after PowerPlay we did our play session per day.

    Create a CCC overdrive profile
    1) Open Catalyst Control Center.
    2) Go to the tab and be sure that overdrive Overdrive is enabled. Please note that the first time you open the tab Overdrive, the overdrive function is locked. Just click on the little golden key on the top left corner of the OverDrive tab to unlock overdrive.
    3) Open the Profile Manager by clicking the button in the window profiles of CCC, and then selecting Profile Manager.
    4) In the upper field of the Profile Manager window enter the name of your choice for the profile. The name is used by CCC for the file that will store your profile CCC.
    5) In the composition window tab of profile manager to expand the parameters first map by clicking on the "+" and be sure that ATI Overdrive is selected.
    6) In the Activation tab, select shortcut on the desktop.
    7) Click the Save button.

CCC will create a link to the profile (with the name of the profile and extension .lnk) on the desktop and the profile itself (a .xml file) in the directory (you need to enable show hidden files and folders in explorer to see it):
    C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profile s (for Vista)
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Local Settings\Application Data\ATI\ACE\Profiles\ (for XP)
You can edit the profile to change the 2d frequencies and voltages for both GPUs. In 2d i have memory/gpu/voltage at 300 Mhz/400 Mhz/1V for both GPUs.
    8) After you have changed and saved the profile then activate it from CCC.

    Install Rivatuner
    1) so that at least in the hardware memory clock frequency monitoring and hardware acceleration of data sources. In addition, for sure this background monitoring enabled.
    2) In the Settings tab check rivatuner to run at Windows startup option
    3) Set the power user can tag a enable clock control cloning Group Riva \ find overclocking \ global. You need to restart, in order to affect this setting rivatuner. These will only GPU overclocking rivatuner the same clock.

    Create overclocking profiles
A low-level overclocking in rivatuner the System tab twist the window to low-level hardware overclocking, memory and GPU to move to the desired value of the clock sildes. Click Apply to save overclocking configuration file:

I given "overclock" name to the profile. As you are able to see, I have changed only the clock of the GPU to 813 Mhz (higher than the maximum clock allowed by overdrive).
