How to disable smart address status bar ie8

I have a question regarding Internet Explorer 8 and I hope someone can shed some light on this

My problem is that,how to disable the smart address bar in Internet Explorer 8? Secondly is the smart address bar and "Suggested Sites" completely two different features for Internet Explorer 8. This is for a computer that uses Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

You can easily do it but you need to take some simple steps to do it and the guidance are given as follows -

The first thing is that just easily right click on the menu bar which will display for everything else. The address bar will always shown on the top of the browser. The guided sites is something you would unchecked.

Just enter into the menu bar and choose tools.
And then internet options.
The internet option would be appeadred with a dialog box,just choose the advanced tab and select the address bar.

One of the features in Internet Explorer 8 is the Smart address bar. You need to select the the internet option from the menu bar.

The internet option would contains different features regarding the settings of the internet explorer.Just take another step -

Choose the content tab from the internet option dialog box then choose Auto complete settings,it will display different settings of the address bar,whatever you want to choose and then apply the selected settings using the OK button.

You can change the position of the stop and refresh button tagged just over the address bar,There are some basic steps that you need to follows to complete the changes -

The steps are as follows -

1- Right click on the Menu bar and choose customize.
2- The customize list would be appeared with different selection.
3- Choose Show Stop and Refresh Buttons before Address Bar from the list.

And Now you can see, the position would be changed after this selection.

If you are in software development and need to change some settings on the browser level then you can perform using writing script.

I am going to show you an example which can able to disable the status bar using HTML codes,you have to add some little bit changes in the programming code named event which will disable the status bar of the Internet explorer 8.

The code is suggested below just include it within the BODY tag of the HTML page.

Code:

<body onload="window.defaultstatus='';">

This code would disable the status bar during the loading of page.The onload event is being used to perform this.

In Internet Explorer 7, the Links bar is used to get access on their favorite sites after one-click. But now a days it is known as the Favorites bar, and it enables users to retrieve not only their favorite web content such as links, feeds, and Web Slices, but also documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Using the new Add to Favorites Bar can be used to mark the sites which is located on the Favorites bar itself, a user can simply add a link to the Favorites bar.
