Then type required name or his e-mail id.

Yes , if you want to block any one on facebook from accessing your account and for stooping to receive messages and other things from them you can easily block them on the Facebook. For blocking them so that they cannot send messages and see your details you can do the following thing. Go to your account and enter into the privacy setting of your account. See the Block list there. Enter the name or the email id there to block him.
