Create an image signature in Thunderbird, Windows Mail and Incredimail

Most of the email clients allows you to add a signature in your emails. You may well remember this signature in some information about you: your name, email address, phone number and address for example. Nothing prevents you also insert a quote or a personal message. With HTML you can use for your messages, it is possible to apply advanced formatting to your signature and add color so that an image such as your company logo or even your photo .

Publishers signing most couriers are often too short to reach a correct result. You will then you turn to writing tools of message that can save an HTML page while providing advanced options such as creating tables to properly align the images and text. You can then use this page as HTML source of your signature.

So learn how to create a nice signature automatically inserted into your new messages with Thunderbird, Windows Mail, and with Incredimail.

Thunderbird Signature Image:

Thunderbird has no signature editor. To create it, we'll just use the tool of writing a new message and save it as an HTML file. You can then reuse the file for your signatures. Just go through this:
  • Launch Thunderbird.
  • Open a new blank message by clicking on the button Write.
  • Write your signature and then put it in shape.
  • Click the Insert link, an anchor ... and click Image.
  • Select the image to your hard drive and click OK.
  • The image is then placed before the text.
  • Click the Insert link, an anchor ... and click Table.
  • Choose 1 line, 2 columns, set the border to 0 pixels and click OK.
  • Drag the image into the first box and your text in the second.
  • Move the table borders to bring the text from the image. And now, your signature is ready.
  • When you are finished, click the File menu, click Save as and then click File.
  • Give a name to the signature and choose a location to save it. Check that the type is HTML files. Finally, click the Save button.
  • Close the new message window and click Do not Save.
  • Your signature is ready. We must now tell Thunderbird to use in your new messages. Click on the Tools menu and click Account Settings.
  • Select your account in the left column.
  • Check this box Affix signature and then click Select.
  • Then select your hard drive the HTML file of your signature that you just created. Click the Open button and than click OK.
  • Now when you start a new message, your signature will automatically be inserted down the mall.

Windows Mail Image Signature:

In Windows Mail, you can define a signature in the form of text or import a file containing HTML formatting more advanced. You can easily create your signature blend colors and pictures by creating a new message and saving it as an HTML file.
  • Start Windows Mail.
  • Open a new blank message by clicking on the Create Mail button.
  • Write your signature and then put it in shape.
  • You can insert an image located on your hard drive. Attention should not be too heavy (ten KB max) nor too large.
  • Pull down the alignment list and select the option for the Left image is left-aligned text. Click the OK button.
  • The image is left-aligned text. You can add a vertical line above to mark the separation with text messages.
  • When you are finished, click the File menu, click Save As.
  • Give a name to the signature and choose a location to save it. Check that the type is HTML (*. htm, *. html). Finally, click the Save button.
  • Close the posting form.
  • Click on the Tools menu and then Options.
  • Open the Signatures tab.
  • Click the New button.
  • Select File and then click the Browse button.
  • Pull down the Files of type list and select the HTML option. Then select your hard drive the HTML file of the signature you just created. Click the Open button and click OK
  • Now when you start a new message, your signature will automatically be inserted down the mall.

Incredimail Image Signature:

Incredimail, which gives pride to the customization you can easily create a signature full color with text and images. It is even possible to insert a handwritten signature!
  • Start Incredimail.
  • Open a new blank message by clicking on the button Create a new mail message.
  • Click on the Insert menu and then click Signature.
  • In the window that opens, click the New button.
  • You can use the executive to draw your handwritten signature so.
  • If you do not want, click the Delete button.
  • Then use the fields below to edit your signature and format using the tools provided.
  • Click the Insert Image button to add a picture to your signature. Select it on your hard drive and click Open.
  • You can also insert smileys by clicking on the button Insert smiley faces and icons.
  • Click the Save button when finished.
  • Provide a name for your signature and click OK.
  • Check the box Automatically insert signature to outgoing messages "is checked. Then click the Close button.
  • Your signature is then inserted at the end of your message.
Thats it, You are done !!

Hello,

I'm trying to add an image (logo) to my signature. I've tried your solution, but the image continues to come up BLANK.

Can you suggest a solution?
