Firefox: always open searches in new tabs

Firefox allows as many browsers now, perform a search in the box at the top right of the window. The problem for many is search that shows its results in its current page, deleting the contents of the site visited just before or forcing open a tab not to disrupt shipping.

It is possible to force Firefox to automatically open a new tab when you use the search box. Automatically, the browser will create a tab to display the results.

• In the address bar, write about:config then press
• In the filter field, then write: browser.search.openintab
• Double-click the result showing that the password value of "False" to "True"

And now, now you are no longer bothered by the results of research.

New Search Tab with Tab Mix Plus Installed

Open Tab Mix Plus Options through the Tools menu. Click on Events.

Check the box for “Search bar” under the “Open tabs from” section.
