There are some very useful key combination in Linux.

Special Key combination In Linux

If you are pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del key on your keyboard then either the system restart immediately , or init command is sent a SIGINT. The previous behavior is the default in linux. The default behavior you can vary by root, with the help of system call reboot().

Some Dosemu key combination in Linux

Purpose Key Combination

Switch to VT n (from version 0.50; earlier Alt-Fn) Ctrl-Alt-Fn
Kill dosemu (when in RAW keyboard mode) Ctrl-Alt-PgDn

With the help of several keystrokes one symbol may be constructed.

LeftAlt-press, with a decimal number pressed on the keyboard, with LeftAlt-release, to produce a result the symbol with code given by this number.

A symbol are followed by a dead diacritic, to produce a result that symbol adorned with that diacritic. By the undefined combination, both the keys are accepted separately.

Created with followed by two different symbols to produce a result a combination symbol. These key combination are user-settable.

Now there are some `Sticky' editor keys (since 1.3.33). For eg, one can type Ctrl-C as SControl, C and Ctrl-Alt-BackSpace as SControl, SAlt, BackSpace.

I have recently started working on Linux system and your tips proved to be very helpful to me at this moment. As i am a newbie to Linux it used to be very irritating to perform work on it as i was not knowing any of the shortcut keys like we generally use in Windows OS. But now after coming across your tips on shortcut keys for Linux i am able to perform my work little faster then before. I am sure by time i will be able to increase my speed while using Linux as i will be more familiar with shortcut keys. Anyways you tips came as a life saver for me. So thank you a lot for your help.
