Firefox is really quick to display pages when you surf. It is possible to accelerate a little load by increasing the number of simultaneous connections to sites visited.
Here small manipulations easy to achieve:
- Type "about:config" into the address bar of your browser.
- Confirm the warning by clicking on "I'll be careful, I promise!".
- In the list box, locate the "network.http.keep-alive.timeout" and replace "300" with "30". Double click to change the value.
- Do the same with the "network.http.max-connections" and change it to "96".
- Then "network.http.max-connections-per-server" to "32".
- "Network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy" to "24".
- "Network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server" to "8".
- Change the option "network.http.pipelining" ,Change it to "true".
- Change the "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to "8".
- Change "Network.http.pipelining.ssl" to "true"
- And "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true".
Finally, close and restart Firefox to see the performance difference.
