How to find private IP address on Vista?

Many users of Vista that following an incident or a virus need their IP address in order to achieve a repair. This manual is very simple guide you to easily get your local IP address (and non-Internet IP address).

Step 1: Click Start, go to "Accessories" folder and click "Run."
Step 2: A window will open with a small inset. Y-type "cmd". Cmd and control means you can through code to find your IP address.
Step 3: The DOS commands will then open (a window on a black background). Y-type "ipconfig".
Step 4: A response will then appear. It is the configuration of your IP address. Your IP address will appear on the line "IPv4 Address" circled in red on my image. Here, you got quickly and easily your IP address.
