    Free SMTP server

To receive mail via a program, through a pop server for sending via an SMTP server. This program is a small SMTP server to install on your machine to send mail by connecting ... to your own pc. Once installed and running, your firewall will ask permission to send data, allowing of course.

Your usual mail client will be set to go through this server in the account configuration, instead of the server address of your ISP (or other), you enter localhost - this means your machine - and the usual port 25 (changeable in free smtp server if necessary). Your mail client and send e-mails a free smtp server.

What is the point? I have repaired this afternoon a friend who could no longer send mail, the SMTP server of the ISP refused the connection. Alternatively, rules out sending (and perhaps to certain limitations), or blockages, and all that I forget. To keep on a USB key, since you can make mobile UniversalExtractor.

It may criticize its program later this very basic, very little configuration and options, and the right to promote a program fee. But with almost nothing to configure, it works. Tested with Thunderbird. When sending attachments, Thundebird said losing the connection, but the mail had arrived complete with the attachment.

    Re: Free SMTP server

The free SMTP server is a smtp server for Windows that lets you send email messages directly from your computer. It is very simple but very useful for laptop users traveling around the world and connecting their PCs to different Internet Service Providers in different countries. You can use it instead of the smtp server of the ISP to increase your security and privacy. The free SMTP server supports all email programs like Outlook Express and Eudora, but best optimized to work with Outlook Express.
