    Installing Pwange on Iphone

    Prerequisites for using Pwange 2.0.1 Jailbreak

    1. A working iPhone with firmware 2.0 installed.

    2. Mac OS X.

    3. The appropriate firmware 2.0 for iPhone 2G (218 MB).

    4. The bootloader files 3.9 and 4.6.

    Important preparatory work: iPhone Data

    Connect your iPhone via USB to your Mac, launch iTunes, if necessary, and perform a right click with the mouse on the iPhone icon. Select "Save".

    Pwange install 2.0.1 on the iPhone

    Note: Pwange 2.0.1, and the bootloader and firmware files should be all in the same directory (which by downloading both files automatically be the case).

    Tip: The iPhone should at the beginning of this procedure with the Mac via USB connected and turned on.

    1. Download Pwnage 2.0.1 from this address on your Mac.

    2. Unzip the tool and start it.

    3. Acknowledge the copyright notice by clicking on "OK."

    4. Let the tool for a search for any update.

    5. Click the appropriate device, and proceed to use the blue arrow to continue.

    6. Select the firmware-2.0-file and click on the blue arrow.

    Restore Mode :

    So here now for the last time the statement made by me as the Restore mode the iPhone and iPod Touch works:

    iPhone / iPod Touch to your Mac / PC Connect

    The Sleep / Wake button simultaneously with the Home button until the Apple logo appears. NOT before release.

    When the Apple logo there is still ONLY the Home button pressed until the iTunessymbol comes.

    Finish - The iPod or iPhone is in restore mode.

    This can be good and like 25 seconds or so long ...
