Disable Photoshare Windows Live Messenger 9

Photoshare is the Image Manager that appears each time I send pictures.
Here's how to disable it.

Image Manager Photoshare runs most of the time when an image is dragged-filed in a conversation window.
Here's how to disable the automatic start of Photoshare:

• Open the registry via the Start Menu, Run and type regedit
• Expand the tree:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Patchou \ Messenger Plus!Live\ vous@email.com \Preferences Live \ vous@email.com \ Preferences

• Right-click on the right then "New", "DWORD (32 bit)"
• Enter "OverrideImgTransfer" without quotes in the name of the key.

Right-click the key and thus created "Edit" in the window that opens, set it to 1

• Close the registry and restart Windows Live Messenger

You can now disable it by hex editing the MSNMSGR.EXE or easier way which is using a patch. It simply allow you to drag any common picture format directly or from your clipboard via CTRL+V.
Follow the steps below to hack it and don’t forget to make a backup of MSNMSGR.EXE first.

• Download a HEXeditor (Like XVI32)
• Open MSNMSGR.EXE in the editor
• Goto offset 16392F
• There should be a 74 in that offset. Change it to EB and save your changes
• Reboot MSN Live and see if it works.
