Version 3.5 of Firefox is heavily loaded with security features and preservation of privacy. Two new features complement the appearance of the Private Browsing mode.
Retroactive and Proactive
Repeat control of your privacy! With Firefox 3.5, you can have many new features that go in this direction. The first of these is the "Private Browsing".
But besides this special mode, already present in all the competing browsers, Firefox 3.5 brings a touch of originality added two protections: one retroactive, the other proactive.
Retroactive method
What if we just realize they forgot to activate the navigation, and you just fill in the historical footsteps of betraying its activity? Do not worry, Firefox 3.5 offers a very practical solution retroactive:
- Open the "Tools" menu and select "Delete recent history".
- By default, Firefox offers to erase all traces of the last hours of navigation.
- By deploying the menu to delete interval you can specify that you want to erase all traces of the two, three or four hours of Web activity. You can even choose to erase all traces of the day.
Proactive approach
Rather than deleting a day or a period, you can ask Firefox to forget a site altogether. No activity of this site will be retained.
- Open the "History" menu and choose "Show History"
- In the tree, find the site you want to remove all traces and click the right button.
- Select "Forget this site". The site disappears completely from all historical.
