Customize the Top Sites function of Safari 4

Like Chrome, Safari 4 proposes a specific screen for quick access to the sites you visit most often. Except that the Top Sites enjoys a 3D rendering particularly careful. This list is normally handled automatically by the browser but can be easily customized by the user and is free to specify, add and remove sites at any moment.

The "Top Sites" function is not just a gadget with additional graphics application. It is a fully customizable, which provides an independent screen like the classic bar favorites.
    • Download "Safari 4".
    • Call the Top Sites by clicking on the icon "Top Sites"
    • Click on Edit button. Now go to "Edit Top Sites".
    • There should be 3 buttons at the bottom right to set the number of sites displayed in Top Sites:
      • Small: displays 24 sites
      • Average: displays 12 sites
      • Large: displays 6 sites

    • Note that each is decorated with miniature 2 icons:
      • To remove a site from the Top Sites list, click the icon in the shape of "X"
      • To force a site to always remain in the Top Sites list, click the icon in the shape of a pin
    • To manually add a site to the Top Sites list:
      • Make sure you are still in Edit mode
      • Open a new browser window by pressing [Ctrl] + [N]
      • Navigate to the site to be added in Top Sites list
      • Drag the URL of the site in question from the browser window into the Top Sites list and drop it to the desired location in the list.
    • You can reorder the list Top Sites by simply dragging and dropping the thumbnails.

    Top Sites

Safari automatically identifies your favorite sites and displays them as a wall of stunning graphical previews. To visit one of your top sites, just click any of the previews. As you browse, Safari identifies the websites you’re most interested in based on how often and how recently you visit a site. So as you explore the web and discover new websites, your top sites will change to match your evolving tastes.

You can even see at a glance when one of your top sites has been updated. Just look for the star in the upper-right corner to see which sites have fresh content to review.
