Gum is a basic tool so do not expect to perfection , Click-Eraser , Set-its hardness and its diameter in relation to your object, with eraser, remove everything that is unnecessary and move closer to the edge of the item you can to keep playing on the hardness and the diameter of the tool.

You Can Also use Magic Wand tool , for that Click on Magic Wand , Click on your layer with your image , Set-tolerance level ,then Your picture will be dotted ,Note that if you select adjacent pixels, it allows you to select several different areas in your image , Click-Delete on your keyboard , Select and Deselect

For example if you have image with black background
    - Click with the magic wand on a black pixel
You can increase tolerance (adjustable from 0 to 255), the more will allow the tool to select the black pixels surrounding the image
-If you set the tolerance to 0, you can select only the colors identical to the one you clicked.
    - On the other hand, if you set the tolerance to 255, then your entire document will be taken into account

Pen Tool is probably the most complicated to use but take the time to master , This is how it works: The pen tool lets you create Bezier curves which you can use to create shapes or selections. By clicking you can create an anchor point and then clicking elsewhere and moving the mouse while still clicked, you can, thanks to the handles (called tangents) that appear, change the curvature of your track.

    For this Click-Tool Pen ,

    • Place the first anchor and the second a little further away.
    • Move the mouse you will see two handles appear and now you move your curve.
    • These two handles can be Used to change the curvature.
    • You need to modify the curvature, for that you press the Alt to select the tool "convert point" and act on the handles.
    • Do your trimming
    • Make-CTRL + CLICK on your track to turn it into Selection
    • Make Selection then Swap
    • Delete your selection
