| Re: Unhide built-in Administrator in Windows XP using regedit
WoW, great tip Even I always wondered whenever I went to Safe Mode that how this Administrator account came when i haven't created it. At first time, I also tried to delete that account ![]() Then I realized that it is a built-in account in Windows XP and is only visible in the Safe Mode. Now this is nice thing that we can also get it on the normal mode and access it. |

| Re: Unhide built-in Administrator in Windows XP using regedit
This is the special account in Windows XP that is similar to Super user or the ROOT account in Unix systems. Deleting this account can cause serious problems with Windows and you may not access the Windows also. Also, even if you get this account on Welcome Screen, there is no need to make changes in this account because the required changes can also be done through the other Admin accounts. Any wrong changes in this built-in Admin account can cause problems to the systems. |

Once you unhide and reveal the Administrator account, you can change its picture or assign it a password or change the password. In addition, on the next boot to the Welcome screen, the Administrator account will be visible, along with all of the computer’s other user accounts. |
