Windows Vista Trial Period Extension for 120 Days

Windows Vista has the ability to extend the trial period of the OS upto 120 days. This is not know by everyone. Here is how to extend the trial period :

• Go to Start button>All Programs>Accessories.
• Now right-click on Command Prompt and click 'Run As Administrator'.
• Now in command prompt type :

  slmgr -rearm

• Reboot your computer when prompted for one.

Now upon reboot your trail period will be renewed to 30 days. This method works only three times.

This method applies to Windows 7 also. To enjoy full 120 days, use this method to renew on the last day of the 30 days expiry. If you do this thrice on the same day, you will be able to use the Windows for 30 days after the last time of using it...!

I beg to differ, but, Windows 7 Beta did not have a 30 day trial, it was good for 6 months, if I'm not mistaken and the RC version is good for 11 months, trial ends 3/1/2010 or until they release the final version for retail, which ever comes first.
