Disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security on Windows 2008 Server

As in Windows Server 2003, the 2008 version has increased security related to Internet Explorer that prevents it from moving to a site if it has not been validated before. This can sometimes be inconvenient as an administrator. Under Server 2003, handling to disable this security was limited to the outright removal of the service. In 2008, Microsoft has improved the comfort associated with this feature by providing the opportunity to disable it completely or just for administrators.

First open: The Server Manager by the shortcut on the desktop or through the Administrative Tools. In the Server Manager, you have a brief summary of the server including all information concerning . In the Security Information, click Settings to configure Internet Explorer Enhanced Security:

A window "Configuring Internet Explorer Enhanced Security" opens.
You can disable this feature for Administrators and Users. Click Off to the Directors. Be Ok:

I recommend you do not disable this feature for users.
With this quick and easy manipulation, so you could disable this security feature that can sometimes cause discomfort.

Re: Disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security on Windows 2008 Server

Even though IE’s security improved lately, it is still dangerous to surf the web with this browser in a security sensitive environment. And I don’t see how the bombardment with confirmation prompts could improve security. I absolutely disagree with your view about less targeted software.
