When you install Windows 2008 Server, by default it is started with the functionality of the server. Therefore, you are not able to use Aero Glass in Windows Vista.
So in this tips, we will present the different steps to activate this feature on Windows 2008 Server.
It will take first turn on Windows Experience.
To do this, open Server Manager:
Click on the shortcut in the Quick Launch toolbar or click the icon on the desktop.
Once the "Server Manager" open, click Add features:
The wizard "Add features" opens, look for User Experience in the list, tick the box and install the feature and then click Next. Confirm the installation by clicking Install and close it after the end of the installation. A reboot will be required.
Once installation is complete and the server is restarted, open Control Panel: Start, then Control Panel.
Click on Administrative Tools, and if the icon is not present, move the panel to "Classic View". Finally, click on Services.
If you can not find the "console management services", Press the Windows key and the R key. Open the console "Run", type services.msc in the console and do OK.
In the console "" Search in the Name column: entry Themes.
Make a right click on Themes and select properties.
In the new window, select the Automatic option in the "Startup Type", click on Apply.
Then click the Start button in the "Service status":
Click OK and close the Services window.
Right-click the desktop and click customization.
In the Personalization window, click Theme. The "Theme Settings" window opens. In Windows Vista theme and select Apply changes.
Blocking a notification asks you to wait appears. Wait for it to clear that the theme for Windows Vista Aero Glass version appears.
Warning! Version of Aero Glass will be active depending on the performance of your system.
