    How to set a default printer by network in Windows 7

    Today, no longer confined to stay on a single network. It is becoming increasingly frequent with the advent of portable computers to move and connect to different networks. With Windows Vista, it was only possible to specify a single default printer all networks combined. What made things complicated when moving on different networks.

    Windows Seven, it becomes possible to specify a default printer by network. It can therefore easily configure a printer in his office and when you are at home.

    Tips This is to show you how to set a default printer by network.

    Warning! Tips This is based on Build 7057 of Windows Seven. The Seven Windows environment and in the different stages of the Tips may have to change over development of this operating system.

    • First of all, you have added your printers.
    • Then do Start and click on "Devices and Printers", you can view the list of printers you have added.
    • Write "default Manage Printers."
    • A new window opens.You will see, two printers default and two networks will add a new default printer to another network which you connect.
    • To do this, simply select a network and printers that you dispose.
    • Make "Add" to add the association.Finish adding in closing the window.

    It is very easy to configure printer by network in Windows 7 running system. You just need to follow few steps to do so:
    • Click on the Start button i.e Windows Orb
    • Now click on Devices and Printers
    • You will see a list of options, just click on the Manage default printers option.
    • In the Manage default printer dialog you have to click on Change my default printer and change the networks
    • Make sure that you have configured the printer to proper network.
