    Eradicating NewDotNet & New.net

    1st method

    Control Panel -> "Add / Remove Programs"
    Search "New.net or New.net Domains", select it and click the delete button "
    After removal, you will be prompted to restart Windows, do so.

    Go to the second method if the first did not work.

    2nd Method

    Use My Computer or Windows Explorer.
    Open the folder C: \ Program Files \
    If you find the subfolder "NewDotNet" open.
    Locate the file "uninstallx_xx.exe" (x_xx is the version of the uninstaller).
    Double-click it to launch the uninstallation.
    After removal, you will be prompted to restart Windows, do so.

    Go to third if the second method did not work.

    3rd method

    Open Windows Explorer.
    Open the folder "C: \ Windows \" (or "C: \ Winnt \" under Windows 2000).
    Find the file "uninstallx_xx.exe" (x_xx is the version of the uninstaller).
    Double-click it to launch the uninstallation.
    After removal, you will be prompted to restart Windows, do so.

    Now to be sure that it started, download the disinfection tool created by Symantec ->

    Run it (double-click or right-click -> Open).
    • Click the "Start" to start cleaning.
    • Let the work and cleaning.

    Restart Windows

    Note: If you were in Safe mode, it will restart in normal mode without any intervention on your part.
    At the end the following message should appear

    "Adware.NDotNet has not been found on your computer". Dotnet actually has not been found, which is a good confirmation of the cleanup.

    click Start \ Run and type: netsh winsock reset catalog.

    You will be asked to restart and then you should get your connection.
