How To Add Multiple Attachments in Gmail

Previously, when you had multiple files to attach to a message, you need to select them one by one. It is now possible to select all at the same time. Icing on the cake: a progress bar shows you the progress and duration of sending files to the Gmail servers.

    1. In the window of writing a message in Gmail, click the Attach a file.

    2. In the window that opens, navigate to the folder where the files to be attached to the message. Press the Ctrl key, then while holding it down, click to select files.

    3. Click the Open button.

    4. The files are then uploaded to the servers and added Gmail to your message. A progress bar indicates the progress of the operation.

Hello , You might also like the firefox extension dragdropupload. It lets you drag multiple files onto the attachment button in gmail from a file window and it handles the rest for you.

Yup Dragdropupload it nice it Drop files into attachment boxes instead of browse for them or type in the filename. Drop multiple files and fill all the entries. In some websites it allows to add new upload files: in Gmail is possible to drop the files directly over the "Attach a file" link.A Sidebar allows to drop files from a listing It is now possible to drop text snippets and the extension generates a temporary text file. This is useful with Thunderbird allowing to drop text from an email as a new .eml file.

Hello , Gmail has (finally) added additional functionality making it easy for you to attach multiple attachments to an email. Google tend to stay away from most things flash unless absolutely necessary but in this case they’ve made an exception, and i’m grateful. Simply attach a file as normal and select the multiple files that you are looking to add as attachments - pretty straight forward. note. If it doesn’t appear to be available on your GMail yet, try logging out and in again.
