Many of use need to clear our recent used documents from desktop or recent played files from WMP, and much more..To prevent to be seen from othres or it seems to irritating while opening a new media file in the media player with a long list of recent played files, which is seems to make your Windows Media Player ugly. Here is trick you can delete your recent played files from WMP .
1. Click on Start menu and select Run.
2. Type “Regedit” and click OK.
3. Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList.
4. Delete the RecentFileList subkey.
5. If you’ve also streamed content from the Internet, you can delete the RecentURLList subkey.
6. Restart your PC.
To keep certain files in the list, don’t delete the entire key. Deleting individual entries within the key will get rid of the files that you no longer want in the Recent File List.
