| To fit multiple pages Word document on one page
Here's how: -- With your document Open, select File -- Click Print from the resulting menu -- Find the Zoom section in the Print window -- If your document is 6 pages, then in the Pages per sheet: drop down menu, select 6 pages -- Click OK Once you click OK, your document will now automatically be formatted to fit into one page. Keep in mind that the more text there is in this document, the smaller the font size will be. |

Sometimes, the font features that you have used in the document may lead it multiple pages. In that case, you have to resize the font to shrink the report size. A three page list report should shrink to 1 page with a 2pt font. Steps:

You can have Microsoft Word 2000 print 2, 4, or more pages of your document on one sheet of paper. To try this trick - Choose the "File" menu >> select "Print". On the "Print" dialog box that appears, head to the bottom-right section of the window labeled "Zoom". Click the "Pages per sheet" pulldown and select how many pages that you want printed on one sheet of paper. Note - To print more than six pages per sheet of paper, your printer needs to handle 600 dpi or better. Most modern printers can handle this with ease, but if your printer is several years old, you should test this feature on draft documents first. |

| Re: To fit multiple pages Word document on one page
I'm having the opposite problem, I need to print out a single page of a word document onto two A4 pages. Sounds simple... but ever program ive found (open office, microsoft word, various pdf printers) only seem to let you print multiple pages onto one as you described above. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| Re: To fit multiple pages Word document on one page
I need to send a 4 page word document to a number of users. There is a lot of text on page 3 and sometimes it spills over to page 4 (because of different printers? print layouts?). This makes my 4 page document either 4 pages or 5 pages depending on who I send it to. Is there a way to fix the text on page 3 such that it would never spill over to the next page? Thanks |
