    Move Cursor without using a Mouse

    If you would like to perform mouse operations only with your keyboard, Microsoft Windows provides an option to you.
    The utility is called MouseKeys.

    About Mousekeys? MouseKeys uses your numeric keypad to control the mouse cursor.
    This can be a handy feature if you are needing better accuracy while designing graphics.
    MouseKeys allows you to move the cursor pixel by pixel across the screen.

    Here is how to activate the MouseKeys feature:

    >Go to Start>> Control Panel>> Accessibility Options
    >Click the Mouse tab
    >Place a checkmark in the box titled: Use MouseKeys
    >Click the settings button to adjust the pointer speed
    >Click OK

    Here is a shortcut method to enable Mousekeys feature in Windows

    Press Alt + Shift + Num Lock.

    This will popup the small window of Mousekeys with the message:
    Pressing the left ALT, left SHIFT, and NUM LOCK keys turns on Mousekeys.
    Mousekeys lets you control the mouse pointer by using the numeric keypad on your keyboard.


    and three options-
    To keep Mousekeys on, click OK.
    To cancel Mousekeys, click Cancel.
    To deactivate the key combination for Mousekeys, click Settings.


    Click OK to activate mousekeys, and enjoy this amazing feature..

    One more method to access Mousekeys feature:

    Click Start.
    Click Run.
    Type “access.cpl”(without quotes).
    Click on ‘mouse’ tab.
    Check ‘use mouse keys’.
    Click OK.


    Now make sure that NumLock is on.
    Now try to move the cursor with the numbers on the numeric key pad.
    That should be working....enjoy
