In order to make this feature enable, you have to logg on into your computer with the user as administrative rights.

Initially right click on My Computer icon and then select the option Manage.

A small windows will prompt with title Computer Management, then try to select the Device Manager option and then locate the SATA Disk below the Disk Drives.

Try to select the enabled advanced performance settings on the SATA disk.

Then click on Ok button as to apply the setting changes by you and try to restart your computer as to get changes to take effect.

    Hey XDRoX-
My name is Jeff and I work with the Windows Outreach Team. I stumbled across this forum via Live Search. Anyways, this is a good tip, as long as you have the correct amount of power. There are some other, less risky ways to improve Vista’s performance. Here is a list of some of these ways: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...c954e1033.mspx
Let me know if you try any of these and how they work out for you.
    Cheers,
    Jeff
