How to Use Gmail Space as Hard Disk ?

If Gmail offers more than gigabytes of space to store your emails, you can not use it to store your files online. Gmail Drive, you can bypass this limitation and use Gmail as your hard drive and drop files for storage and retrieval on another PC.

    1. Download Gmail Drive From This Link

    2. Save the file on your hard drive.

    3. Then unpack the archive.

    4. Then run setup.exe.

    5. Gmail Drive is installed. Open My Computer (Windows XP) or the Computer (Windows Vista). A new drive called GMail Drive is present.

    6. Double click it. Enter your email and your Gmail password. Check the box for Auto login does not have to enter this information each time you connect.

    7. OK.

    8. Gmail Drive the drive is opened.

    9. You can now use your Gmail as a USB key. All files and folders that you place will be sent to your Gmail.

    10. You can find them from any computer connected to the Internet, add, download, etc.. The files are also accessible via the Gmail interface in the form of attachments to messages. You can download them easily from anywhere.

Re: How to Use Gmail Space as Hard Disk ?

Hello , I Found out that GMail Drive is still an experimental tool. There's still a number of limitations of the file-system (such as total filename size must be less than 65 characters). Since the tool hooks up with the free Gmail Service provided by Google, changes in the Gmail system may break the tool's ability to function. Nobody can guarantee that files stored in this manner will be accessible in the future.
