| Assign a keyboard shortcut to Terminal in Ubuntu
You are probably using quite often the command line with Ubuntu. To save time, you can open the Terminal window with a keyboard shortcut. - Click on the menu and then click System Preferences.
- Click the Keyboard Shortcuts tool.
- Pull down the list until the action starts a terminal section of the Bureau.
- Click on it. New shortcut text is displayed.
- Then press the buttons to use to launch the Terminal, Ctrl and T for example.
- Click the Close button.
- You can now open a Terminal window instantly by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl and T
