Assign a keyboard shortcut to Terminal in Ubuntu

You are probably using quite often the command line with Ubuntu. To save time, you can open the Terminal window with a keyboard shortcut.
  1. Click on the menu and then click System Preferences.

  2. Click the Keyboard Shortcuts tool.

  3. Pull down the list until the action starts a terminal section of the Bureau.

  4. Click on it. New shortcut text is displayed.

  5. Then press the buttons to use to launch the Terminal, Ctrl and T for example.

  6. Click the Close button.

  7. You can now open a Terminal window instantly by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl and T
