Automatically empty the cache of Windows Vista

As was the case with its predecessor Windows XP, it is possible to automatically purge the cache of Windows Vista. That is the way forward. A simple change in the register is sufficient.

    • First launch the Start menu located at the bottom left and select "Run." In the field of the dialog box that appears, enter the command "regedit" and click OK.

    • Once entered in the registry, visit the following tree:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\.
    • On the right side of the window, then select DWORD key named "ClearPageFileAtShutdown" and double click it.

    • Enter the hexadecimal value of 1, click OK and you're done.

Re: Automatically empty the cache of Windows Vista

First see the meaning of cache here. For example, as you know that whenever you browse internet with your browser it store the browsing history in its cache. Although storing browser cache makes web browsing faster as it usually takes your computer less time to display a web page when it can open page's elements or even the entire page from your local Temporary Internet Files folder, browser cache can threat to your privacy because everyone who has access to your computer can see some personal information by simply opening the browser cache folder. With the above trick you can automatically empty the cache of Windows Vista . Hope i have help you .
