Many a times we forget the Wireless Settings and want some one to help us to just get rid of this situation. But can't run through this. So now here is a simple way to backup your home network settings before such situation arises and restore them at a later date.

To backup your wireless settings just follow the below steps:

  1. Start the Windows Backup software. Navigate to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Click on "Backup".
  2. Click "Next".

  3. On the "Backup or Restore" wizard, make sure that "Back up files and settings" is selected, and click "Next".
  4. On the ''What to Back Up" dialog box, click on "Let me choose what to back up", and then on "Next".
  5. On the "Items to Back Up" dialog box, expand "My Computer", and then select "System State".
  6. On the next page, select a backup destination with at least 500 MB of free space and click on "Next".
  7. On the "Completing the Backup or Restore" dialog box, click on "Finish".
  8. To restore your files in the future, click on "Restore files and settings" in Step 3 above and then point the wizard to the location of the file you saved in Step 6.
