How to copy the text of an error message ?

It is possible to copy the text of a message ? Sometime you get Error message and i was wondering whether we could copy it or not. as the text in error message is not selectable,

To copy the text of an error message, use the CTRL+INSERT keyboard shortcut to paste the text into Notepad or into an e-mail message.

To copy the text of an error message into Notepad, follow these steps:

• When you receive an error message, press and hold down CTRL while you also press INSERT.
• Click Start, click Run, type notepad, and then click OK.
• On the Notepad Edit menu, click Paste. Or, right-click anywhere in the body of a new, blank Notepad document, and then click Paste.

Yes it is possible to copy error messages and in much more simple way then stated above is to use the traditional [Ctrl] + [C] to copy the text of the error and [Ctrl] + [V] to paste them in any editor .

Wow. This make my life a lot easier. No more trying to go through Print screen and copy it do paint Attach to Email and upload it . simple use CTRL+C, CTRL+V! that it . thanks guys nice trick
