Hello,

As We Know Many XP software is compatible with Windows 7. but However there is a problem with WLM Windows Live messenger version 8.5 or 9 , whenver you try to connect it give the error 81000306. In PF, all authorizations are WLM data, disabling Windows Defender and / or UAC changes nothing in the installation of WLM.

If you have Installed WLM Then
  • Open a cmd from Start/Run then type cmd
  • Cmd window opens for Windows 7 as "Administrator: C: \ Windows \ system32 \ cmd.exe. (Different from Windows XP)
  • As a result of C: \ Users \ your name>
  • type the command:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel = disabled (or copy / paste)

You can Restart, but it is not requiredThe same thing applies to Vista. Reopen WLM. The login window can be opened normally from connection> the dialog (with your status) opens but it might be almost empty This will not prevent the normal use but it is embarrassing. Vertical tabs may also be absent.

Now if you Uninstall WLM and clean with CCleaner> reboot the PC> re-install WLM, and here it has become "normal" with all its options.
The final version is unlikely to have this problem
