    Windows Xp slow Shutdown

    Hi,

    I am facing an lots of issue with my PC.Whenever i give a shutdown command to my PC it's takes a long time as compared to other machines can anyone tell me what the issue with my Computer. I was not facing this issue early, but from last few week i am having this issue.

    Sure i will help you out with this issue you need to follow fews steps as below:-

    1. Click on start.
    2. Click on Run and Type regedit.
    3. Now navigate through the following key:
    4. [HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
    5. Over here Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown value to 0.


    OR

    By using Group Policy Editor [for Windows XP Professional]

    1. Click Start, Run and type Secpol.msc
    2. Click Local Policies/Security Options.
    3. In the right-pane, set Shutdown: Clear virtual memory pagefile to Disabled
