How to setup Hotmail on iPhone 4

At last Microsoft has finally finally made the ActiveSync Exchange possible for Hotmail. Not only will this allow you to get push Hotmail emails on your iPhone, but you’ll also be able to sync your Hotmail contacts and calendars over the air.

For some reason, large providers such as Hotmail do not speak the standard languages such as POP3 or IMAP Email (protocols used by the iPhone), which is necessary for an application able to translate all the languages understood by the respective mail servers , is where IzyMail gives you access to webmail major suppliers such as AOL, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail or Windows Live with any email application. To configure your hotmail account in your iphone through IzyMail have to follow the following steps:
    • Join IzyMai
    • In your iPhone go to Settings> Mail> Add Account where it will display the logos of the various service providers, but we enter the last item labeled "other."
    • For faster downloads of emails we recommend using standard POP, IMAP can be used but the download is much slower and complicated. Enter the full name and mailing address.
    • In the "Host Name" enter in.izymail.com, plus user password with hotmail.
    • Under Outgoing Mail Server, out.izymail.com place in the name of the host, and again your hotmail user with the password, and then click "Save."
    • NOTE: Most ISPs block outgoing mail on port 25, you will realize that if by clicking on "Save" takes too long, if this happens then configure the outgoing mail server name "out.izymail.com: 587", simply specifying the port 587.

Wait .... Wait ... wait ... and then get a message that we must say "YES", and keep waiting ... waiting ... waiting, until finally start downloading emails.

Re: How to setup Hotmail on iPhone 4

Another way to check the hotmail email on our iPhone is forwarding all the messages we get the hotmail mail to a Gmail mailbox, which is easily supported by the iphone. To forward mail simply enter your hotmail account, and click on Options, then under "Manage Your Account" we click on the Forward email to another account and then specify the Gmail account where you want to get the mail. The detail of this solution is that all forwarded mail is deleted from the Hotmail inbox.

    • Switch to Gmail is the most radical but certainly effective.
    • Check your mail from Safari, I'm sure most iphoneros is the best option for you.
    • If anyone has other solutions, we are open to comments in order to update the post, and be everyone informed.
    • Update: As many of you already know, 1 month gives IzyMail only to be proved the application, then you have to pay an annual fee not exceeding $ 20. Thanks to readers for their comments.
    • Update: If you have problems when you forward mail from a Hotmail account to Gmail, go into your Gmail account and click "Settings", then enter the Accounts tab, then click on the "Add another mail account "section located in the Get mail from other accounts, and from there to set everything. Another way is to forward mail to the implementation GetMail .
    • It’s pretty easy to set up Hotmail Exchange ActiveSync on your iPhone and only takes a few seconds…
