On Windows Vista, it may happen that some software poses some compatibility problems with Aero. It follows that the Aero interface cuts partially or even completely. Most of the time, Aero restarts when the application is closed, but unfortunately that is not always the case. We will see how to reactivate it.

We will reactivate Aero in two stages:

1 / Select the theme:
Right-click an empty spot on the desktop, then click Custom Color and appearance of windows. Then click Open classic appearance properties for additional color options. Then check that Aero is selected in the color. If this is not the case, activate it by selecting it and clicking the Apply button.

If Aero is already selected, go to the second stage. Otherwise, the problem should be resolved.

2) Restart the DWM:
Click the Windows button and, in the search field, type services.msc and click OK.
In services, search Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and click the button to restart. Aero appears again.

If the manipulation did not work, check again the first step after the restart DWM. If Aero always shines by its absence, it is necessary to check a small display of properties in the advanced display. Please choose the best viewing options, not maximum performance. Thus, Aero should reappear
